Common Criteria and Quantum Crypto (D20c)
Common Criteria in its over two decades existence has seen many technology changes. Quantum crypto is just one of them – though could be a major one. While Quantum crypto can be just around the corner or at least a decade away, Common Criteria should take a serious look at state of the art of Quantum crypto and its implications to Quantum crypto. If Quantum crypto becomes a reality, it is entirely feasible Quantum cryptography implementing systems will proliferate in quick order.
This talk will explore the Quantum crypto state of the art and its potential impact on Common Criteria on existing and upcoming PPs, and cPPs.
