Confidential Computing and Common Criteria (A13a)

Confidential computing provides protection to data during processing, particularly for data being processed in a cloud or mobile environment. Beyond that, the definitions vary from vendor to vendor. This talk will look at the different types of solutions advertised as confidential computing, what they have in common, and how they differ. The Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) will be discussed, how it can work with a Rich Execution Environment (REE), and how solutions can be evaluated under Common Criteria.
