Results on Automating National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Requirements Testing for Mobile App Vetting (S12c)
U.S. government agencies need to quickly and affordably assess whether their mobile apps are compliant to NIAP’s Protection Profile for Application Software. A pilot conducted by DHS proved automated app-vetting tools are accurate and trustworthy to help automate NIAP evaluations. This talk will share the pilot’s results and how app-vetting tools quickly and consistently gather evidence—in hours or even minutes—to verify if an app meets NIAP security requirements.
