This presentation will outline the required steps to assess an entropy source including design analysis, entropy justification, and health testing to meet Common Criteria requirements from the NDcPP based on a NIST SP 800-90B entropy assessment. The presentation will discuss an entropy source case study for a real-world application. The presentation will also overview the Entropy Validation Certificate Public Re-use requirements, where vendors can use third-party entropy sources.
