Herbert Markle has evaluated multiple products over his 28 years of Common Criteria (CC) experience as well as helping vendors maintain the DoDIN APL listings for the last 5 years. Herb has worked for Booz Allen Hamilton for 8 years were he currently serves as the CC Technical Directory for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Cyber Assurance Testing Laboratory (CATL) and Lead Consultant for the CATL’s DoDIN APL certification, maintenance updates, and Vendor STIG writing services. Additionally, Herb served in the U.S. Air Force as an officer, for 5.5 years, assigned to Air Force Research Laboratory, Griffiss AFB, where he was responsible for the development of Multi-Level Security (aka Cross-Domain) products with additional experience in achieving Certification and Accreditations for MLS products.
