Michael Meissner

After several years in the Telecommunications Industry Michael moved to IT security and joined the Certification Body of BSI in 2002. He has been working as a certifier for smart card, hardware and software certification projects since then. His work also includes site certifications with their focus on life cycle aspects. With his Industries background and experience his preferred way of work is a close co-operation with his mainly private sector clients in order to meet their needs to quick project times and achievable goals while meeting the product certification and site security standards. He is working closely together with most German ITSEFs. Although he has been active in several international working groups and panels and although he has been involved in several National Projects his passion will always be certification projects with private firms and industry. His clients during those 20 years of work in the German Certification Body constitute a “Who-is-who” in the High Tech Industry.
