Quantum Resilient CC: The Impact of PQC and QKD on EUCC (A31b)
The transition to quantum resilient security is reshaping assurance requirements across the EU cybersecurity landscape. This talk examines how Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) influence the emerging EUCC scheme, from algorithm selection and protection profiles to evaluation methodologies and lifecycle assurance. It highlights practical challenges—hybrid deployments, interoperability, and certification scalability—and outlines a roadmap for integrating quantum safe mechanisms into Common Criteria without disrupting existing conformity frameworks.
