Real-World Applications of AI in Common Criteria (for Labs and Vendors) (C20c)
The potential of artificial intelligence to support Common Criteria (CC) activities is a topic of growing interest, yet its practical value and limitations are still being explored. Given the CC framework’s high demands on reproducibility, it is essential to critically assess where AI tools can genuinely assist labs and vendorsâ and where they may fall short. In this talk, the presenters will share real-world examples from the presenters’ evaluation lab, highlighting both successes and failures with AI tools. The presenters will also discuss the presenters’ approaches to managing risks and ensuring reproducibility when applying AI to CC tasks.
