Reusing Existing Certification Schemes in CRA Vertical Standards (A21c)

The CRA standardization work is introducing a number of vertical standards for specific product categories. Rather than defining completely new security requirements, several of these standards build on existing certification schemes and Protection Profiles, reusing well-established security requirements and evaluation concepts.

This talk will provide an overview of this approach and present practical examples from current CRA standardization activities. It will show how existing Protection Profiles and certification schemes are being reused in the development of CRA standards, helping to build on well-established security requirements and evaluation concepts.
