What Are the Ways to Achieve Certified Evaluation Methodology Accepted Under the EUCC Scheme and Mutual Recognition Agreements? (B21b)

EUCC harmonises a European tradition of evaluation and certification at high assurance levels, maintaining SOG-IS technical domains. Technical domains provide certified methodology in State-of-the-Art (SotA) documentation. For ICT products certified at assurance level high (AVA_VAN.4 and AVA_VAN.5) outside technical domains, certified methodology must be established. Methodology may be provided in a certified Protection Profile, which can be accepted as SotA. This talk explores how to accept this methodology in the formal scheme for use in certification processes. This is relevant for developers and manufacturers within the EU and outside the EU that want their certified products recognised within the EU.
