Jens Oberender

Jens leads the field of commercial product evaluation at SRC Security Research & Consulting GmbH. Since earning his PhD in IT security in 2009, he has focused on IT-security assurance for software and FPGA-based products. He manages evaluation projects and has conducted vulnerability assessments (up to AVA_VAN.5) on security smartcards, mobile devices, 5G core components, PKI systems, and network devices. Jens contributes to guidelines on IT security assurance in the areas of eHealth and satellite systems. He also works closely with Germany’s Allianz für Cybersicherheit (ACS). His expertise includes Common Criteria, NESAS CCS-GI, and he holds the ISACA CISM and PMI PMP certifications.
