Biography

Mihály Pajerich is a Certified Common Criteria Evaluator and Deputy Head of Laboratory at CCLab, a QIMA company – Hungary’s only accredited Common Criteria laboratory. He has been involved in Common Criteria evaluations since 2017, supporting developers and manufacturers throughout the evaluation lifecycle, from security documentation and design reviews through to operational testing.
Before moving into cybersecurity evaluation, Mihály spent more than a decade in software engineering, working as a software developer, development team lead, project manager and Scrum Master. This combination of evaluator and engineering experience gives him a practical perspective on cybersecurity assurance and on how security requirements translate into real-world development processes.

He is an EUCC High Evaluator. As a trainer, he supported several laboratories, certification bodies and regulatory authorities on their journey to Common Criteria. His current work focuses on evaluations and evaluation methodologies in the context of the new requirements introduced by the CRA and EUCC. He has also recently joined international Common Criteria working groups, giving him a broader perspective on international industry and evaluation practices.
