Malaysian has been using biometric fingerprint since 2001 when MyKAD first introduced. In the next few years, we envision a whopping change in trend since the other biometric modalities have emerged. A survey was done to observe the readiness of biometric among the Malaysian. From this result, gaps are identified in order to prepare for a common national testing requirement. Dealing with testing requirements, leads to certain unique criteria to fulfil several parts of concerns for biometric devices/platform. The chosen requirement must have the balance among the biometric usability, culture and performance. Testing criteria is will lead to a wild exploration and seek to beyond expectation.
