CCC Digital Key: A Worldwide Standard That Enables Our Mobile Devices to Replace Traditional Keys to Give Access to Our Vehicles (D13b)
The Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) consisting of over 150 members has developed a protection protocol to securely store, authenticate, and share digital keys in mobile devices and vehicles. The CCC Digital Key system consists of vehicles, mobile devices and both vehicle OEM and mobile device OEM backend systems. The presentation will give an overview of the CCC Digital Key system as well as the protection profile for digital car keys.
