FIA’s OTP Security—a Common Criteria Approach (M01a )
The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) is currently publishing a report of the “On-Board Telematics Platform (OTP) Security”. It addresses the importance for Mobility Clubs and Independent Service Providers (ISP) to get and send data directly from/to the vehicle. The OTP approach consists of an Automotive Gateway (A-GW) inside the car that performs any type of external communication. The presentation gives an overview of FIA’s approach and introduces the protection profile of the Automotive Gateway.
