How Common Criteria Can Be Optimized to Develop More Efficient Schemes (D22b)
The Common Criteria standard is often criticized for its costliness, time-consuming nature, excessive documentation requirements, and lack of objectivity. In this talk, the authors will demonstrate how the standard can be optimized to achieve a very efficient certification time while maintaining a high level of evaluation confidence. They will showcase four efficient schemes: MIFARE, CCC DK, SESIP, and GSMA eSA, and show how each scheme optimizes certain assurance classes of the Common Criteria to increase evaluation efficiency.
