Alban Feraud

Alban has served as President of EUROSMART since 2021 and board member since 2018. EUROSMART is a professional organization promoting the technical know-how of the European digital security industry. Alban is leading the association contribution on digital identity topics with a strong focus on the revision of eIDAS. Since 2021, he also co-chairs the Cybersecurity and Digital Identity (CDI) Committee of the association. This Committee counts among its members worldwide experts on digital identity, including eIDAS. Alban FERAUD has over 15 years’ experience in the area of normalization and regulatory issues related to digital identity, travel documents and digital security. He takes part in numerous standardization groups worldwide. He also has an in-depth knowledge of digital identity and electronic signature (e.g. eIDAS) from a technical and legal standpoint. Alban holds a BSc Modern Optics from Université de Caen, France and Bristol University, the UK. He also holds an MSc Telecommunication from Ecole Supérieure d’électricité, France.
