Joop van de Pol

Joop is Senior Security Evaluator at Brightsight. The Brightsight lab consists of 160+ evaluators and works for multiple Common Criteria Schemes. Joop has a background in applied mathematics (BSc & MSc) and computer science (PhD) with a focus on cryptography. Currently, Joop specializes in emerging evaluation methodologies and adapting existing evaluation methodologies to new applications. As such, he has experience evaluating IT security products using a broad range of techniques, which includes Common Criteria evaluations using the SOGIS methodology for composite evaluation of smart cards and related devices.
