Josepmaria Roca

Josepmaria long experience in cybersecurity started in early 2000’s, working as an IT security engineer specialized in software and web services security. After 10 years acting as a freelance consultant, developer, and technical expert, he joined Applus+ to become a Common Criteria evaluator.

During the period 2013-2017, he built and leaded the team of a new lab in Shanghai and supported vendors from Asia to achieve their goals in world-wide Cybersecurity Certification.

Since 2017, he is business area director in Applus+ Laboratories, and his responsibilities includes helping to define the business strategy for the Cybersecurity Certification labs and related business lines, as well as to ensure a globally coordinated operation across the labs in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Passionate of scientific methods applied in technological industries as a mean for huge value generation and growth.
