Jürgen Blum

Jürgen Blum acts as policy officer for the German National CyberSecurity Certification Agency which is part of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in Germany. His work has an emphasis on the accreditation and authorization of ITSEFs and certification bodies.

He is a former senior certifier in the Common Criteria Certification Body at the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and acted as chairperson of JEDS, a European working group for embedded devices. For over 30 years he has been working for the German Federal administration (including two Federal Ministries) as expert for IT project management and IT security. He holds university degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Business and Engineering.
