Kiyotaka Hammura

Dr Kiyotaka Hammura is engaged in creating a Protection Profile (PP) and an Evaluation Methodology Document (EMD) regarding Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) modules, endeavouring to make the modules CC-certified. Since joining the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in 2021, as an ETSI ISG QKD and ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC27/WG3 delegate representing Japan, he has produced many contributions to the two SDOs. The quality of his contributions relies on his long-term research history as a physicist in Cambridge, including ultrafast laser optics and implementation of QKD modules.
