Renate Verheijen

Renate is a double qualified lawyer in European & International law as well as in Business law. She specialized in cybersecurity and worked for several cybersecurity service providers before joining the EU Agency for Cybersecurity as legal officer cybersecurity certification. With her cybersecurity expertise she contributes from legal perspective to the design and development of the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework, working closely together with the EU Commission and Member States. Renate is certified Lead Implementer for ISO/IEC 27001 & 27701 and is certified CIPP/E.
