Applying the CC Framework for Soft-IP Evaluation Reuse (A23a)
Soft-IP cores facilitate chip development with reusable hardware blocks. Reuse of Soft-IP evaluation results has been experimented with, but there is no widely accepted practice. The Eurosmart Soft-IP taskforce prepares for such practice, building on the existing methodologies for Secure Elements and the 3S in SoC that allow for hardmacro and PL-macro reuse. This session presents the results of the taskforce including a gap analysis and scope definition, as well as next steps to establish an accepted practice for Soft-IP evaluation reuse.
