Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Technology With Common Criteria (CC) – First Steps (A21b)
BSI has successfully conducted a project to test the practical applicability of CC for an EAL 2+ evaluation of AI video analysis systems based on CNNs. One output of this project is a corresponding protection profile and a combined vendor and evaluator guide. Moreover, BSI is supporting related activities to implement the well-established ISO 15408/CC Framework for AI evaluation purposes, e.g., in the form of the EINISA TG AI, the most recent SC27 WG3 AI Evaluation proposal, and BSI’s own follow-up projects.
